As one of the world’s leaders in semiconductors, we have a responsibility to lead by example.

Our vision speaks for itself: we want to be everywhere microelectronics brings a positive contribution to people’s lives. We believe that conducting our business with the highest standards of integrity is essential to our long-term success.

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct is designed to promote honest and ethical business conduct, to deter wrongdoing and to provide principles to which our employees are expected to adhere and advocate. Our Code of Conduct is not only applicable to all of our employees and senior managers, it is also mandatory to comply with our Code for everyone acting on behalf of ST, including executives and business partners, as we are all responsible for acting ethically.

We have adapted and will amend our Code of Conduct and related policies, as appropriate, to raise awareness, ensure effectiveness and compliance, and to reflect regulatory or other changes. Our Code of Conduct also encourage our employees (or any interest third party) to speak up and express any concern they may have in good faith, without fear of retaliation.

Cultivating a culture of trust and transparency

The Company’s Management strives for the cultivation of a “speak up” culture, allowing everyone (such as employees, business partners and customers) to express, in good faith, any concern they might have regarding possible violation of the principles contained in our Code of Conduct, internal policies and the law. ST set up a Misconduct Reporting Hotline, operated by an independent third-party provider, reachable 24/7 online or by phone (with a multilingual offering).

Bribery and Corruption

ST has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, regardless of the identity or position of the originator or recipient of any bribe. It is also strictly forbidden for anybody in ST to use Company funds or assets to make a political contribution.

Our Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy are available to all and provide clear definitions regarding instances of bribery and corruption and include detailed descriptions of the Company’s rules for engaging with third-parties. They also explain how to report actual or suspected violations and outline the potential disciplinary actions and legal consequences of any non-compliance.
